Dive in. Splash big. Swim Strong
Our mission
After lockdown we noticed increased wait lists for swimming lessons and where there were lessons, packed classes with up to 10 students. We saw a shortage of teachers and an increase of children without lessons.
We knew something had to change...
We started HH Dolphins to help tackle this.
Our classes offer a solution to the wait lists while our low ratio classes help to maximise teacher-student contact time.
We also knew classes weren't enough and there were children missing out because traditional classes didn't suit their needs.
Our 1:1 classes offer a safe and personal environment for them to thrive in. Our 1:1's aren't just open to children; we know how daunting it can be as an adult to start learning to swim so our 1:1's offer the perfect environment of finally take the plunge.
Who we are
Emily Harvey
My name is Emily and I’m 22 years old. I have always been into swimming and I used to swim for my county which is how I got into swim teaching. I’ve been a qualified swimming teacher for nearly 7 years now and I hope my skills can encourage your little ones to develop their swimming.
I am an incredibly experienced swimming teacher with skills in teaching large, small and 1:1 classes. My speciality is butterfly which I know is the hardest to learn out of all 4 swim strokes but with my determination and love for the stroke and swimming, I can hopefully pass this passion on to my students. I am a fun, passionate person and I know this will reflect well in my lessons with your children. I may only be young but my experience in swimming will definitely help towards high quality swimming lessons!
Niamh Hall
I’m the second part to HH Dolphins Niamh! I have a history in leisure as a lifeguard and level 1 swimming assistant who later qualified for my level 2. I’ve always been super sporty, I’ve played rugby for the better part of my life as well as kickboxing more recently, the latter to this being that I’m enthusiastic about sport and combined with my enthusiasm for swim teaching and helping kids get involved with that to build better relationships with moving their bodies and developing fundamental skills to keep them same makes me an excellent teacher. I’m enthusiastic and probably just as silly as your kids. Partnered with my history assisting in SEN lessons, it really sets me apart from your bog standard teacher.
Our low ratio classes make our swim school and excellent choice for swimming lessons and with my partner Emily, it doesn’t matter if it’s 1:1 lessons or in one of our class based lessons your child will walk away from every single lesson making progress but more importantly with a smile and that’s a guarantee!
